On Saturday, 24 October 2026, The Rhapsody Orchestra presents its final concert of the 2026 season, Classical Contrasts, at the Sand du Plessis Theatre in Bloemfontein.
The program explores three contrasting works: Mendelssohn’s evocative Hebrides Overture, Viotti’s Violin Concerto No. 23 in G major, featuring orchestra member Kefentse Motshabi as soloist, and Tchaikovsky’s enchanting Nutcracker Suite. From the drama of the sea to classical elegance and romantic colour, the concert offers a captivating musical journey that ends with Christmas magic.
