FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
The Performing Arts Centre of the Free State (PACOFS) is pleased to announce that it will issue a call-out for theatre, dance, and music productions for inclusion in its 2025/2026/2027 artistic programme.
This strategic move aims to expand PACOFS’ artistic offering, broaden participation within the creative community, and address programming gaps that have arisen. The initiative aligns with PACOFS’ mission to develop, support, and present diverse South African performing arts that reflect the nation’s cultural richness and social narratives.
“This call-out allows us to ensure that PACOFS remains a platform for inclusive and diverse artistic expression,” said Themba Dlamini, Chief Executive Officer of PACOFS. “By opening opportunities for new and emerging productions, we continue to contribute to the economic vitality of the Free State arts sector and ensure that our programmes speak to a wide range of audiences.”
This call-out will enable PACOFS to:
- Broaden access for artists to participate in the 2025/2026/2027 artistic programme

- Contribute to job creation and stimulate economic activity within the Free State arts sector
