With the coming of spring an exciting chapter starts at PACOFS. A number of new appointments promises growth at the institution.
Mrs Adri van Veijeren, former director of the Vrystaat Arts Festival, has been appointed as senior manager: marketing and Ms Jane Mpholo, award-winning writer, producer and arts administrator, has been appointed as audience development specialist. Ms Lethabo Khumalo was appointed as artistic coordinator, to help identify productions for the theatres, amongst others. She formerly worked at Dance Umbrella as project manager administrator, and at the South African State Theatre as artistic coordinator, part of the team that rebranded the Dance Umbrella to Kucheza Afrika. She recently worked at Theatre Business Arts South Africa (BASA) as associate producer/coordinator for the cultural producer’s program and the So Creative Summits 2022.
Mr Fapane Motloutsi is the new human resources manager. Motloutsi is a seasoned human resources specialist from the mining industry, amongst others. Ms Anastacia Mashaba has been appointed as artistic administrative assistant, and Ms Andiswa Mgedezi has been appointed as marketing administrative assistant.
